Important Corona Virus Update

On March 11, the World Health Organization declared that the ongoing coronavirus outbreak evolved into a pandemic, with the potential to spread to all countries in the world. What does all of this mean to you and your loved ones, and how does it affect your upcoming relocation?

It’s up to you to behave responsibly and follow the prescribed rules of conduct in order to reduce the risk of infection. On the other hand, it’s up to us to do everything in our power to ensure your safety while relocating your belongings. That’s why we’ve incorporated additional precautionary measures into our relocation procedures:

  • Our trucks are being cleaned daily
  • The crew wears masks and gloves all the time, and the sick movers stay at home
  • There is a sanitizer in every truck and warehouse
  • Equipment used for moving is cleaned and disinfected daily as well

When it comes to your part, start by increasing your hygiene. Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially if you sneeze, cough, blow your nose, or touch something outside.

Avoid touching your face (eyes, nose, or mouth) or other people without washing the hands first. This is a virus that is spread person-to-person, so you should limit your physical contact with others as much as possible.

Use a hand sanitizer and take it everywhere with you, but make sure it has at least 60% of alcohol. With it, you can clean your hands but also the surfaces you need to touch.

Even though there is still no vaccine for Coronavirus, we should all, as a community, take care of each other, and make every effort to stem the outbreak. Remember, prevention procedures don’t take much of our time, but can mean a world of difference to someone particularly vulnerable.
